Time for a Snowie snowcone

Hamming it up for the camera

I just love the moments when the kids feel so carefree and are enjoying the simple things in life.  Snowie time is a cheap quick evening outing that also keeps us cooled off.

Maverick Likes Pink Boas

I am not sure why he loves this pink boa, but he does.  Today I decided to take some pictures.  He loves chewing on it, or whatever he does with it, really it just get soggy but it is pretty funny.

Here is one last picture to show how handsome he really is becoming.  For the most part a pretty good boy for 5 months old.

Conversation with an almost 7 year old named Luke

Luke - phoebe what do you want to go to college for?
Phoebe - I don't know yet.
Luke - I want to be the ice cream man.
Phoebe - you know you don't get to eat the ice cream.
Luke - I know. I can listen to the music. The music is gooooooood!

I just love the conversations my kids have sometimes. They make me grin! We also didn't tell him that a person probably doesn't need to go to college to be the ice cream man.  I don't want him thinking going to college is an option.  On another note, Luke lost his second tooth so now he has this cute smile =)

 and this silly face
Tooth number 2 was ready so Scott got the door ready.  I think it is funny that all the kids prefer this method of tooth removal.  It works every time!

Paisley Visits the ER

Our little Paisley took a spill off a kitchen chair and it came right down on top of her.  Poor girl was such a trooper and hardly even cried when they had to give her the lidocaine shot for the stitches.  The doctor had two nurses come in and strap her in a blanket to keep her from kicking and wriggling all over the place, but she didn't even flinch or scream out.  I couldn't believe how brave she was.  We think she will have a couple of black eyes once the swelling goes down, but are grateful she didn't have a concussion.  Warning...the pictures are pretty graphic, although we think she kinda just looks like an Avatar (only not blue and with blonde hair)

Feeling tired and yucky

So tiny in the bed, but cuddled up warm with her blankie
 All stitched up

On our way out and happy to have a orange Popsicle

Ethen the Pogo Stick Jumping Machine

Ethen has been pogo jumping a lot lately. It is hard to do and a pretty major workout when done for long periods of time. I think he has been up for 10 minutes and his record is 636 in a row. And it is fun too watch. There is a video down at the bottom of this post.  Yes it is dark, he was doing this at like 10 o'clock at night.

Achievement Days Pinewood Derby

Phoebe had a girls only Pinewood Derby this past week.  Scott was able to get out the tools and get Phoebe's bug design cut out and it turned out so cute. The cars were so cute that all the girls made. It was really fun too see all the different designs.   It was recognition night for the achievement days girls and what a great and fun way to recognize them all. Phoebe has been able to attend achievement days since she turned 8 and she loves going. She has some really fun leaders that take the time out of their busy schedules to have fun and teach the girls great lessons. Phoebe is growing into such a beautiful young woman both inside and out and we couldn't be more proud of her.
