I bought this dress for Paisley off Etsy.com isn't it just so cute? It is a ghost. The best part is that Phoebe can wear it as a shirt too! SO it is like getting 2 outfits for 1.

We finally had our one game Saturday where the team Phoebe cheer for played Ethen's team. It was nice to get it all done in one sitting. Aren't they so cute?! Oh and the Cowboys won 26-0!

We also had a fabulous sunset to watch. Look at all those colors!

TEXAS STATE FAIR

We have lived here in Texas for almost 8 years now and can you believe we have never made it to the state fair?! So this year we finally did it. This is no rinky dink fair now, it is the largest state fair of all I think. Tons of crazy rides and games, and lots of funny shows and things to see. We took the kids out of school early and headed to see what everything is all about. I would venture to say it was very much about the fried food. We even tried a fried snickers, and the kids were introduced to their 1st funnel cake! Paisley's favorite was a giant turkey leg on a stick. Somehow I even got talked into going on a crazy spinning ride and was glad it was out last thing because I felt sick for over and hour afterwards, but man was it fun! I wanted to take pictures of all of it, but my battery died halfway through the day. I should have charged it. We watched a bird show, dancing dogs, baby pig races, and a stunt show! Here is a little sampling of our day.

Big Tex says Luke is tall enough to ride :) !!!!

Scott feeling a bit off balance after Phoebe takes him on a crazy, fast ride. She was smiling the whole time. I don't know where this girl gets all her thrillseeking from, but she sure LOVES it.

Happy Birthday Mom!
You have taught me everything important that I know. I love you so much and hope that I can be half as great a mother as you have been. You are the most talented woman that I know and have made me the person that I am today. Have an AWESOME day :)

Games

We had back to back games this last saturday which made it nice to get it all done with in one trip, but did end up being a little long for Paisley to handle in the bleachers. Here are some fun shots of the Ethen and Phoebe.

SPOOKTACULAR
It's October and nothing makes it feel like Fall the way Halloween decor does! Here are a few pics of what I have done this year. Luke is loving all the decorations and wanted to be in the pictures too :) As a side note I may love this holiday because of all the orange!

Made this awesome banner from emmie cakes . It was so fun to make and I love, Love, LOVE it. The space needed a couple orange mums to finish it off.

Star of the Month

Ethen was chosen to be one of the stars of the month for 4th grade. The value was for knowledge. He is one smart guy and we are so very proud of him :)

Some children would be eating all those animal crackers, but my Paisley is just following in her siblings footsteps and finding ways to climb. She thought this would be a great stool to get into the dishes and water. She was right.

Hair

This was a fun one that I did on Phoebe one Sunday. I left kinda a lot of ends out. Next time I will probably make the braid a little longer so the whisps are shorter. I learned how to make hair bows at our church Super Saturday this last weekend , so now i have a bunch more bows to use.

I am sooo thrilled that Paisley can finally get her hair up into little piggies. Even if she does try to pull them out right away. Some days I can manage to distract her long enough that she forgets about them for awhile and leaves them alone. I still haven't figured out how to get her to leave in a big bow yet. That will make me so happy :)
