Happy Birthday to Scott
Scott had his birthday back on Dec. 9th. Another year older and another year wiser. Phoebe was in charge of his cake this year and made it with the younger kids help. She was very nice to let them help her do the mixing and frosting. It was tasty as always.

Scott came up with the yummy idea to make Christmas shaped rice krispie treats. Scott cut them out and the kids all enjoyed pouring on sprinkles and decorating them. They made a great treat and were fun to put in the kids lunches for the next few days.

Phoebe's 9th Birthday
Phoebe turned 9 today! Only 1 year left of single digits. She has been so excited for her birthday to come this year. Phoebe wanted a sleepover so I decided on just a small group of friends this year so I wouldn't stress about so many kids. Since Phoebe is all about cooking and baking we decided to have a cooking party. It started a few days ago where Aunt Tina took Phoebe down to The Cake Stand and let Phoebe make a cake all on her own with their excellent supplies. Phoebe spent a lot of time sketching and planning exactly what she wanted. She made it come to life and it looked AMAZING! She pretty much did all of this cake by herself. The only part Tina did was to write her name. The rest of the construction was all Phoebe with some coaching from Tina. I am pretty sure my girl has a gift because this cake was perfect (and super cute) even the layers inside were all perfectly straight! Yummy white cake with chocolate butter-cream frosting in-between the layers and vanilla butter-cream for the rest. My only concern is that she is already enjoying 3 layers of cake for a birthday cake, how many layers do you think her wedding cake will need to be?

The party started off with the girls decorating aprons and then wearing them while making individual pizzas. They all loved rolling out the dough and spreading on the toppings. It was a really fun time and all the girls were excited to see and taste how their creations came out.

Happy Birthday to our Little LoveBug
Paisley turned 3 today. I can hardly believe she is 3 already. She is still so tiny and petite, but makes up for it in will power, strength and decibels. We had a fun little party with another adorable cake by Tina and invited her closest little friend, Camille, and their family over to celebrate. Paisley requested TinkerBell cake and Tina picked a pouty picture that represents Paisley's personality just perfectly. She loved the book and heart pillow sent by Great Granny, the cute doll with a backpack and bottle sent by Nana and Papa, and the mermaid from Grandma. Paisely is a girly girl and loves all thing princess and dolly. She had to open everything right away and get into the dressups Camille gave her and walk all over the house together with the babies and mermaid. I love this stage of little girl, soooo girly and adorable and sweet. Happy Birthday to my baby.

The Party
Phoebe's birthday party was a hit! We had 10 girls over for nail painting, cookie decorating, freeze dance, pin the microphone on the rock star, and a few other games. 2 hours of silly girl fun and another AWESOME cake by Aunt Tina :) This time Tina picked up Phoebe and took her to The Cake Stand so she could help make her cake. This was soooo fun for Phoebe since, one of the things, she wants to be is a chef/baker when she grows up. Phoebe had it all designed on paper beforehand. They did a great job!

CHECK OUT HER DANCE MOVES!HAHAHAHA
Happy Birthday to Phoebe
On Phoebe's actual birthday she opened her presents from family. She loved the baptism bracelet and hymnal from Great Granny, the fun box of goodies from Nana, the card with cash from Grandma, the game from John, and crisp dollar bills from Ethen. Thank you to everyone for making Phoebe's birthday so great.

Phoebe has been saving her money for months. She has been trying to decide what to buy with it and has changed her mind a few times. At first she wanted a DS (handheld video game), but finally decided she wanted the little electric scooter our neighbor was selling. They tried to sell it in a garage sale but didn't so when she some cash with the birthday presents she couldn't wait to go over and make the deal. They were so impressed with her saving her money that they even gave her $25 off the price! She was so ecstatic!!!

Phoebe's Surprise!
Today is Phoebe's 8th birthday and I surprised her this morning with a Mom and daughter morning out. I took her to the mall (where she thought we were going to Build-a-Bear) and took her to get her ears pierced! She was soooooo excited! She has been begging me to let her get them pierced for over a year now and I just kept acting like I was never going to let it happen. She really never thought I was going to take her, because I had been telling her that when she could keep her room organized then I would take her to get her ears pierced. Her eyes were soo excited when I told her what we were going to do; I think she didn't really believe me at first. She kept saying, "Is this a dream?" and a permanent grin was glued on her face. I love how happy she is. She keeps saying "thank you, thank you, thank you, a million thank you's!"
